Tonight’s progress! Thanks for joining me on the livestream tonight, and sorry for all the technical issues!
I’m working on Bro’s second lineart pass, which is done on a vector layer now so I can manipulate the line weights better. A lot of the extra lines that helped fade sharp lines into curves are missing at the moment but they will be restored when I finish. I made a lot more progress than it looks like I did!
Tonight’s progress! Thanks for joining me in the livestream, even if it was fraught with technical problems and even stopped airing the two hour stream 45 minutes in! I’m going to tweak the background idea I had in mind because it doesn’t exactly work the way I want it to yet. Might have this scene taking place indoors with some pipe filled interior or something. I threw in some Salchicha bot sketches to help show scale n one version of this sketch and to add a bit more movement! I’ll flesh that idea out a little better next stream.
Tonight’s progress on this art trade! Had some pretty awesome conversations this time, and one of my students from work walked up to me with his mommy to say hi. What a nice day today has been… I even figured out how I’m going to deal with Bro’s arms! Thanks for joining me in the stream folks!
Here’s some more work I was doing on my half of an art trade with Guezadilla. Her character Bro’s arms are a little tough to figure out! Hammond’s in the background blowing off steam and looking menacing. Or really silly. One of those.
I’d like to do a Library Livestream today but I’m going to study Game Maker with my buddy Jim today. I might stream at some point today though, so keep an eye out!
Tonight’s progress! It only took A WHOLE DARN YEAR but I finally have drawn picture of Guezadilla’s character Bro for our art trade that isn’t complete garbage. The big sketchy blob in the background is gonna be my robot Hammond (and possibly his wife Leslie somewhere) since fighting robots is a thing that Bro does! This sketch still has some lingering issues but I will fix them throughout the week. Then once I complete the sketch foundations for the other two art trades I owe I can finally tell everyone what to draw for their halves. Sorry for the delay everyone!
I keep getting self-conscious about my art and forgetting what this tumblog is supposed to be for. No more of that - time to post the sketches I’ve been working on recently instead of waiting for them to be more presentable! Here they are, embarrassing errors and all. I’m supposed to be tracking my improvement here, not hiding!
